Waterproof Camping Tents are suitable for hiking.

1. Fabric:

Waterproof fabric technical index is subject to the degree of waterproof.

Water resistant is simply applied with AC or PU on the surface, which is used for children's or game tents.

Waterproof 300MM is usually used for beach tents/sunshade tents or cotton tents for drought and little rain use.

Waterproof 800MM-1200MM is used for conventional and simple camping tents.

Waterproof 1500MM-2000MM is used for medium-level tents which travel for a long time.

Waterproof 3000MM is usually professional tents which are processed with high temperature/cold resistance technology.

Bottom fabric: Generally, it is made of PE, with the quality depending on its thickness and warp and weft density. The high-level one is Oxford fabric and the waterproof treatment is over 1500MM.

The inner fabric is usually breathable nylon or cotton. The quality depends on its density.

2. Skeletal structure

The most common are fiberglass tubes.

Measuring its quality is professional and also matters.

The supports of tents are divided into several categories

(1) Elastic steel: Usually for children's tents or beach game tents.

(2) The most common are fiberglass tubes including series of 6.9, 7.9, 8.5, 9.5, 11 and 12.5. The thicker the stronger the rigidity and the weaker the softness. So whether the support of fiber pipes is reasonable depends on the proportion of the size and height of the ground. It is easy to break if it is too thick or too thin. For example: The proportion 210X210X130 is a classic size and the pipe is usually 7.9 or 8.5.
