Joshua Oleynik, he began his involvement in martial arts in 1997. He has studied, and trained in Tae Kwon Do, and other arts. He learned from Master James Oleynik, whom began his involvement in martial arts in 1957. Master James Oleynik has studied, and trained in Tae Kwon Do, Hopkido, Akido, in addition to other martial art disciplines. A Master instructor, 9th degree Black belt, and presently, Chairman of the International Karate Alliance.

He is one of two siblings, Brother of well known actress Larisa Oleynik. With a passion of arts, he has always had a spark of capturing the readers attention with various mediums of entertainment. Now he shares some of the passion, creativity, and information with the world. Larisa Oleynik came to fame in the mid-1990s, after starring in the title role of the popular television series, The Secret World of Alex Mack, and has also appeared in theatrical films, including The Baby-Sitters Club and 10 Things I Hate About You.
