Product Description
The heavy weight drill pipe is the transition from flexible drill pipe to rigid drill collars during drilling. It is often substituted for drill collars to reduce friction in horizontal and extended-reach Wells. Reduces stress concentration between drill pipe and drill collar, prevents differential pressure sticking, reduces friction and torque, and prevents excessive buckling in the thickened middle area.
